Concept behind the book ‘Digitally Empowered’

I am excited to tell you about a book I have been working on for about two years that profiles a range of “pioneers” leveraging the internet for success and to promote their careers.

“Digitally Empowered: How Savvy Pioneers Are Leveraging The Internet For Success” takes a look behind the scenes at the online revolution that allows people from many walks of life to pursue their passions.

If all goes to plan, the book will be out in about three months.

The book includes interviews and insights from a range of players – including adventurer Ed Stafford, blogger Yaro Starak, internet marketer Shaqir Hussyin, photographer John Stanmeyer, digital assistant Michelle Dale, and marketer Nitsa Nakos.

JOURNEY OF EXPLORATION

On the course of my journey to find out how the internet provides options to reach out to the world, I have uncovered a major revolution in the making.

Sometimes we are so close to things we fail to realize the implications.

Through the stories of these “pioneers” we see how we are in the early stages of an online revolution that over the coming years will empower thousands, if not millions, of ordinary people.

I use the word “pioneers” because we are still in the early stages of this revolution.

I use the term “ordinary people” because all the people featured started out as ordinary people with a dream who through hard work and utilizing the internet and digital skills broke through to success.

HOW TO GET DIGITALLY EMPOWERED

What is exciting is these people are leading the field – where their careers and businesses are supercharged by the power of the internet.

Now, these players are not characters out of a superhero Marvel movie but real people with their own stories of challenges and successes.

Take Shaqir Hussyin who described himself as a punk kid a decade ago struggling to break into internet marketing. Now he is an 8-figure earner.

Take Nitsa Nakos who suffered financial during the 2008 economic crash but today leads tens of thousands of marketers promoting an asset-accumulation business aimed to offer people financial freedom.

Take author Mark Dawson who has built such a following online and helped other aspiring writers that he is now making a 7-figure income.

Take fitness coach Alexander Botto-Gregor who immigrated to the UK and swapped journalism for building a successful online fitness training business for women.

And the list goes on.

These players offer insight into the secrets of having success online, whether running one’s own online business or leveraging the web to boost their career.

NOT ALL PLAIN SAILING

What is clear from the experiences of these ordinary people who have worked hard for success is their path has not always been easy.

All have faced challenges along the way.

But there journeys are inspirational. And we can learn a great deal from their ups and downs.

In the coming weeks, I will offer insights into these “digitally empowered” players who have embraced the online revolution.

Stay tuned!
